Great old hotel between Bangor and Bar Harbor. Classic and authentic. Rooms are good bit like other old buildings the rooms can be loud. We had an excellent dinner there and the bar is cool. Only negatives were slow wifi and water temp in bathroom.
My extended family decided to plan Thanksgiving dinner here. One member is vegan and called ahead to see what she could eat. The owner was rude and unpleasant, adamant that nothing, not even a salad, would be vegan. It is unfortunate that a large restaurant would not have even one item to accommodate this diet. We live in the area and I will lobby to not have family gatherings here again.
Charming spot with a great view. Owners and staff are friendly and attentive. Their Sunday brunch is both tasty and plentiful!
Quaint room with modern amenities. Very nice staff. Good Continental breakfast. Comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Free parking. No fitness facilities.
The Thanksgiving buffet was extremely delicious, they offered a wide variety of choices and the service was excellent. It was my second Thanksgiving dinner here and everything was perfect both times. I recommend this to everyone and the Sunday buffet as well. I will be doing this every year from now on and I will make reservations earlier.
